  1. Hmm not so sure about that , saw them lose them 4 out of the last 5 times I went D: at the WACE , 1 lose in a ODI to New Zealand , 1 lose in a T20 to Sri Lanka and 2 test losses to India and South Africa and I somehow missed the Ashes test last year T_T , but yeah hoping to see a win against India this summer!

  2. i remember that game- i was there at the g, got the day off school great day but i remember jaysaria bowling lee with a half tracker to win the game for sri lanka. was gilli’s last game at the g i think.

  3. Exactly. One game I wish he did it was his final ODI at the G (which I went to). Blasted 83 off 50 balls. But because he got too carried away he got himself out when we were coasting (1/116) and we ended up losing chasing 200 (lost 5/1). Richie Benaud would ahve been right in saying he’d have been the first to make a double hundred, but he just got carried away. Also noticed how many time he got out in the 90s in ODIs. 7 or 8 times i think it was

  4. Thats one of the things I wanted to see Gilly do more in his career, man if he batted in the 40+ overs he couldve got 200 easily, but he often got carried away after a blazing start. Always wanted himto calm down and bat deeper into the innings, like Ponting too- he was incredible in the death overs when given the chance.

  5. Haha funny how it switches from a boundary in the 23rd over to the 38th over. He got so nervous that he had to do it in singles.
