Make no mistake Giles, if you keep losing games of cricket then you won’t
get the full time job. The media and the public won’t accept it. You are in
an interview, like it or not. Being the one day boss gives you an advantage
in the sense the job is yours to lose, but a disadvantage because the poor
performances of this current crop will cost you that job.
Start winning or start forgetting about being in charge of the test team.
Ian Bell should have been in the Squad in the first place! Need more
experience to help the young guys along.
